2013 Tempranillo

This Vintage was very special, cold early till mid -August then extremely hot days with cold clear nights. Never have we seen such extremes at Legacy Vineyards. This Tempranillo has a full body with plenty of fruit on the front, hints of dark berries, and strangely Anjou pear at mid palate, this wine finishes with rich tannins and a bold Spanish flair. Pairs well with grilled red meats and vegetables. Winemakers Favorite: Grilled Ribeye, grilled zucchini, garlic infused fusilli pasta topped with Fontina cheese, for Dessert, Tiramisu…. Of course.
